STRUCTURE OF THE
ACADEMIC PROGRAM
Our academic program, ESL (English as a Second Language)
Our academic program, ESL (English as a Second Language), allows student-athletes to learn and improve English directly at Lane Community College. The ultimate goal is to achieve the TOEFL or Duolingo score required to access undergraduate programs at American universities. Students can achieve this by taking the test when they are ready or by passing the different ESL levels at Lane Community College.
Students at the academy will have 20 hours a week of instruction with dedicated professors at Lane Community College.
Additionally, students will be tested to determine their appropriate English level upon joining the program. The professors will personally assist our students throughout their stay, ensuring they achieve their academic goals.

STRUCTURE OF OUR
SIS Sports Academy
Our training program focuses on the holistic development of student-athletes in basketball and soccer by enhancing their physical, mental, and nutritional skills. During training sessions, players will be filmed using our advanced VEO Cams, providing a detailed analysis of their technical and tactical improvements.
Our head coaches bring invaluable experience from elite colleges and professional levels, equipping players with the essential elements needed to adapt to the American system.
SIS Soccer and Basketball Academy operates at Lane Community Collegeutilizing their top-notch college facilities to provide the best training environment. The academy offers players, with or without existing offers, additional pathways to pursue their dreams in collegiate, semi-professional, or professional leagues in the United States.
Students will have the unique opportunity to be introduced to college sports while improving their English proficiency. Unlike regular programs where ESL students cannot compete or train, the SIS Academy at Lane Community College seamlessly integrates both athletic and language development, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching experience.

Real Opportunities for Advancement
Our academy players in both basketball and soccer may have the opportunity to sign with semi-professional or professional teams. For soccer, these opportunities include leagues such as MLS Next Pro, USL Championship, and USL League One. For basketball, players may have the chance to join semi-professional teams or secure spots on NCAA Division I or Division II college teams if they reach the required level.
