SIS SOCCER ACADEMY

SIS Soccer Academy, at the University of Greenville, helps the international student athlete to have a better adaptation to the American school system through a unique combination of high performance training and English language learning.

Our players will develop their soccerskills at a high level while they have specific classes at the University of Greenville to reach the necessary level of English. Our goal is to give the student a great experience and to succeed at the TOEFL exam, which gives access to a career or to study in the U.S.

During the period of stay, the student athlete will enjoy the residency at the campus, meals, making new friends, English classes and training by experienced Coaches at a college - and a professional level.

Sports PROGRAM

Our training program is based on the knowledge and development of physical, mental and nutritional skills of an elite soccer player. During the training sessions, the player will be analyzed with cutting edge technology (ADESTRaap) that allows a better and more detailed view of the atheletes improvement in technical and tactical aspect. *

Head Coaches of our program have played at elite Colleges and professional levels, providing players with essential elements in their adaptation to the American system.

SIS soccer academy provides players with or without offers with additional options to follow their path in collegiate, semi-professional or professional leagues in the United States. *

STRUCTURE OF THE

ACADEMIC PROGRAM

Our academic program ESL (English as Second Language) allows the student athlete to learn and improve English directly at an American University with the ultimate goal of achieving an optimal TOEFL score, which allows international students to access the career or bachelor’s degree in an American University.

The students at the academy will have 16 hours a week with private professors at the University of Greenville. Since 2000, SIS has helped student athletes to achieve their dreams of studying and competing in the United States through sport scholarships. We have also helped student atheletes to achieve a semi-professional or professional contract in the US and other countries.*

Our academy players may also have the opportunity to sign up for semi-professional or professional teams in the MLS, USL Championship, USL 1 and USL MLS leagues.

OUR CLASSES

A day at the academy

Our academy has a minimum term of one American semester to a maximum year (FALL / SPRING), this will depend directly on the level of English of each student athlete. The schedules can vary between the academic courses in the morning with the sports training in the afternoon or vice versa, creating an environment conducive to optimizing the academic and sports aspects.
